CT sentiment mirrors 2019 pico-bottom

Major influencer notes quiet feeds reminiscent of early-2019 lows, but cites stronger fundamentals today.

Last time I remember crypto twitter feeling this dead was in early 2019. There was practically no volatility, nothing interesting being developed, and the price of everything was down 80-90%+. It was also the pico-bottom. Difference is - back then, there really wasn't much happening... so the "death" in CT didn't just feel real, it kind of was. Now - we're still seeing innovations happen daily, regulatory headway, and a huge amount of institutional adoption. If we were able to not just survive without any of those narratives going for us (they were just dreams), but actually thrive after - you'd have to be crazy to think we don't thrive even more at the end of this stretch. It's not a matter of if, but when. Simply survive and keep stacking.

Solana yield farms on 1-of-2 multisigs exposed

User with six-figure DeFi positions warns that half the protocols rely on single-key custody risk.

I have 6 figures across Solana earning yield So I spent the last 48h digging into the risks behind it Honestly shocked… some protocols are running on 1/2 multisigs One hack or social engineering attempt and it’s game over https://t.co/VCGy0VRG8l

NFT reward debate: WETH bids vs direct buys

Influencer argues projects should buy their own NFTs instead of WETH offers to spark real volume.

Why make WETH offers on the collections? If your goal is supporting collections and driving interest with more collectors, my opinion for the better approach would be just use that capital toward buying more of the collection and increasing the number of rewards you distribute. Drives more buy action, has a better chance of sparking more interest, gives better distribution, and doesn't force you to "double buy" rewards which feels like pure extraction.

Germany tightens exit rules, cites Bitcoin hedge

New conscription law limiting overseas travel drives call for Plan-B passport plus self-custody BTC.

CASH IS KING. BUT PASSPORT IS QUEEN 🇩🇪 Germany quietly changed conscription laws. Now, any man between 17 and 45 years old needs a permit from the German military to leave the country for more than 3 months. I've been warning you: a mobility freeze (like what they already did with endless lockdowns) is comparable to a cash seizure. So if you're a wealthy European, get yourself a Plan B passport and Bitcoin in self-custody.
