Crypto Twitter remains exceptionally quiet with minimal substantive news flow, dominated by memes, AI commentary, and non-crypto content. The few notable signals include continued regulatory optimism around the Clarity Act, institutional positioning shifts, and scattered trader sentiment on BTC and ETH.
The Story So Far
The Clarity Act continues its march toward passage with Coinbase's Vice Chair reiterating the '1 yard line' optimism first flagged this morning, suggesting genuine legislative momentum building over the past 12 hours. Meanwhile, the long-term holder capitulation thesis that emerged in recent days is gaining traction with fresh on-chain analysis showing aggressive selling rotation—potentially into AI sectors—echoing Pentosh1's earlier warning about crypto competing for capital flows. ETH bulls remain vocal with bold outperformance predictions, though this contrasts with CryptoKaleo's stubborn $1K-before-$5K call from earlier in the week, creating a clear sentiment divide to watch.

Top trader shifts from shorts to spot accumulation
Influential trader who shorted BTC from $125K sees limited downside, pivoting to longer-term spot buying for asymmetric upside.
$BTC Higher Time Frame Having shorted this move from the 125s, I personally see little value in continuing to press swing shorts at these levels. My focus has shifted back toward spot accumulation, where I believe the more attractive asymmetric play lies in identifying high-quality buying opportunities for the longer-term move over the next several quarters.
Robinhood Hyperliquid sabotage fears surface
Concerns that Robinhood will use political leverage to undermine Hyperliquid reflect intensifying perp DEX competitive dynamics.
Unfortunately I think Robinhood is going to end up trying to sabotage Hyperliquid. Most likely through political levers and lobbying. This is not a playground, it is a fight for territory, and there is a ton of money at stake.

Long-term BTC holders aggressively selling, rotating to AI
On-chain data reveals unusual long-term holder de-risking behavior typically seen in bull markets, with capital potentially flowing to AI sectors.
Very interesting..... Long term $BTC holders are actually selling aggressively at these levels. We usually see this kind of aggressive selling during strong bull markets, but this time it seems like long term holders are actively de risking. Long term holders are rotating into other sectors. Most likely AI because this dynamic is definitely interesting. It could also mean some long-term holders no longer see Bitcoin offering the best RR compared to other opportunities, so they're reallocating capital. (I think that is BS personally) Either way, I'm still bullish. I'd rather see long term holders capitulate now and spread supply across more holders.
Trader stakes reputation on ETH outperformance
Bold prediction that ETH will beat top 10 cryptos, Mag 7 stocks, and memory semis over next 6 months signals building bullish conviction.
I stake my entire reputation on this coming true. $ETH will outperform the top ten cryptos, the mag7, and the big3 memory stocks, over the next 6 months.
ETH squeeze to $2K levels in focus
Technical setup highlights $1,850 flip and $2K target as key levels for potential ETH price expansion.
$ETH squeeze to 2k ? Two level in radar! but if he flip 1850 and squeeze to 2k If he were to give away the ‘down’ control in the green box, it would be a great gift https://t.co/cyiffc88nM
